LIME CRIME CANDYFUTURE LIPSTICK: AIRBOURNE UNICORN & BABETTE

Hello everyone, I would just like to share a review on some more unusual shades from my lipstick collection by Lime Crime. It arrived in the cutest packaging in a purple box with a silver unicorn on it. The tube itself is also very cute; purple, sparkly unicorn and a lime crime logo, however, the bullet seems to have quite a questionable shape!
Another positive first impression is that company claims that there is no animal testing in the production of their products, and they are suitable for vegans.

Around the end of last year, after following the Instagram page, I decided that I was in love with with the first shade shown on my lips above Airbourne Unicorn. I didn't have a purple shade in my collection as I tend to go for reds, so this was a lovely change. It is an opaque violet colour and as you can see it is very pigmented! I feel the colour sticks to my lips with one application opposed to other brands where many applications are required to gain the same kind of colour brightness. I feel this is a beautiful colour for a dramatic look, especially with my peely-wally skin tone.
Next up Babette, I'm not sure whether this colour is still as widely sold as it was when I bought it, however, I can't see a reason why since I really like this peachy shade, it looks fab with a bronze smokey eye look. Again the colour payoff was great with this lipstick, one application and voila finished.
For both lipsticks, the texture is really smooth and lasts for quite a few hours of the day, so minimal retouching is needed. The only problem I have encountered with these lipsticks is due to my sensitive skin they are quite drying to my lips, I have counteracted this problem by applying Lush's bubblegum lip scrub and some lip balm after use.

For anyone interested on buying Lime Crime lipsticks, I found mine at RRP from CutECOsmetics because why not be cruelty-free whilst looking like a cutie at the same time? :p
