LUSH REVIEW: CELESTIAL

Hello everyone, it is approaching the colder months rapidly so I thought I would give a review to one of my beauty favourites - Lush's Celestial facial moisturiser. 

As a dry skin and eczema sufferer I find that my skin quite often breaks out in dry sore patches of skin. This can be quite problematic when it patches around my cheekbones and/or my eyelids. I have found this little gem of a moisturiser to be most helpful in relieving this raw skin pain, and since entering my daily beauty routine I have been having less and less random patches of eczema appearing on my face. What a lifesaver!

If you are looking for a new affordable moisturiser for autumn/winter and suffer from sensitive skin I highly recommend this moisturiser. It smells beautiful - a faint fragrance of almond, vanilla, orchid & cocoa butter. This may make this purchase much more appealing to those that are put off by lush's strongly fragrant products. It is lightweight and glides smoothly across skin, I find this to be a favourable trait as many hydrating moisturisers for dry skin can be very heavy. 

It does take a few minutes for the moisturiser to sink in before I apply my foundation, however I have found this to be the case with many other moisturisers. 

Another benefit of lush products is that there are vegan, free of animal testing and they encourage recycling. I save up my tubs of various products, like the moisturisers and shower scrubs, before going on a lush shopping haul with a free face mask awaiting me!
