LOVE ME BEAUTY

Hello everyone! I decided to order up my first beauty box. I have been considering it for awhile but I really wanted to see a review of a company first before I ordered one up and after watching Victoria from InTheFrow show off the Love Me Beauty box on Youtube I decide to give this company a shot.

What I liked about this company is that you filled out a questionnaire with your skin type, and favourite type of products so then your monthly beauty surprises would be most suited to you. You then get 6 credits for around £10, and you can select products up to this value. I choose a moisturiser, eyeliner, lip liner and a mineral eyeshadow.

It came in a cute box, which more than protected the products, with a drawstring bag inside.

The S5 Restore Cream is for normal-dry skin which is great for someone like me who occasionally suffers some eczema on my face. It has a really fruity smell and will be perfect for the winter. For full sized product is £39.00 for 50 ml, so I am delighted to try out a 15ml sample before deciding to take the plunge for a luxury moisturiser.
Description: Advanced anti-ageing moisturiser for normal-dry, sensitive skin with age defying desert, arctic & marine bioactives to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, hydrate & protect for a radiant, youthful complexion.

The Mirabella lip lustre liner in 'Shy' is an American brand which I usually would not be able to try out had I not bought this beauty box. The colour shy is an orange-red which differs from my existing lip liners in my collection. It spreads on the skin creamy and is easy to apply. The RRP for this product is $16.00 which convert to around £10 - the price of this box!

The Lord & Berry smudgeproof eyeliner in 'black' I really like this product as although I am a huge fan of liquid eyeliner, I don't apply it to my tear ducts. This is because every time I have tried this technique I have ended up with eyeliner floating about eyeballs - not my best look. So I settle for winged liquid with kohl liner on my tear ducts, This eyeliner applies as darkest black - which I like - and is also really creamy. You can buy this eyeliner separately from Selfridges for £8.50.

Finally, Marsk mineral eyeshadow in 'Foiled Again' is a shimmery, silver eye dust just perfect for December. Separately this costs £14.49.  I like mineral makeup as it is made from natural products and tends not to increase the chance of a breakout on my face.

All in all this beauty box is great value for money and I really like the products I received. Have any of you guys tried out a beauty box before? What is your favourite company?

I think it's fantastic because sometimes you could be sent things that you aren't that interested in from other boxes!

I used to have a subscription to Glossybox. I might sign up again in the New Year as it was a nice little surprise every month. xx

Mineral eyeshadow looks lovely! I was thinking about subscribing to some beauty boxes but somehow I always give up that idea.
Have a nice day!
