BLOGIVERSARY

One year ago today I decided to take the plunge and create Lady Ellumina on Blogger - of course, I didn't publish a post until a week after because I wanted the blog to look semi-presenetable. I am a perfectionist by nature afterall.

Although I kept up with some blogs during my teenage years starting a blog of my own was another concept entirely. I didn't know what to expect. Would other people actually care about my opinions? I felt a bit intimadated by the idea if I'm honest - especially when I compared myself to any big time bloggers. But I woke up one day and this feeling hit me it was time to just go for it start a blog - after all as a self-confessed shopaholic I always spent so much money on clothing and beauty, why not share it with others??

When I created the account I didn't think I would be here in a years time and actually kept up with writing fairly regularly. I feel for me that might be an accomplishment in itself. 

So far it has been a great experience to have a place on the internet that is mine, and I've met some new people and gained more confidence in myself. It's been a strange year but so far I'm loving this little hobby of mine!

A big thank you to those that have supported me so far - I really appreciate it. To my lovely readers I don't want to spill to beans too much but I am planning on creating a little giveaway bundle as a thank you sometime soon so watch this space!

ps. how cute are these seafoam green, pastel pink & white paper garland decorations from etsy?! I may have find an excuse to buy them.
