The Seven Deadly Sins of Beauty

I thought it would be fun to write another tagged post, it isn't often that I sit down and do a Q&A type post. Today's theme is the 7 deadly sins of beauty.

GREED 

What is your most inexpensive beauty item? 
Any drugstore bargain that catches my eye e.g. right now I'm using Albero Balsam Coconut & Lychee shampoo and conditioner. It was £1 for a bottle.
What is your most expensive? 
It is probably perfume. My most expensive in my collection so far is Miss Dior Eau De Parfum. I don't think there is another beauty product (aside from electronics) that I'd spend over £50 on individually. 

WRATH 

What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with? 

If I'm completely honest with myself I would say that I have a love/hate relationship with mascara. Now before you cover your face in complete shock over my revelation I will explain myself - it is the makeup product that needs to be replaced most often, and when the tube starts to dry out when applied the product crumbles into your eyeballs.. not cool. This is why when I find a good affordable mascara I keep coming back for more. I'm looking at you Maybelline Lash Sensational.  Branded product wise the one that comes straight to mind is Benefit's They're Real Mascara. It applies well, I get super voluminous and thick eyelashes and the formula almost sticks to your lashes so it lasts all day but this can be so problematic when it comes to removing it -a really good eye make up remover is essential or it will feel like you are tugging at your lashes.

GLUTTONY 

What are your most delicious beauty products? 

My collection of Lush bath bombs smells amazing.

SLOTH 

What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness? 

Definitely without a doubt false lashes. I can apply them. Eventually.  It is really fiddly, and if the glue isn't dried properly the lashes move around and it can be so frustrating to fix. Plus, I prefer an emphasis on my cat flick eyeliner instead of massive lashes.

PRIDE 

What beauty product gives you the most self-confidence?

I would say foundation or concealor for covering those blemishes but really a good red lipstick is my biggest confidence raiser. And here is why, you can be having a bad day - an unwashed hair, and a baggy t-shirt kind of day - and by just putting on a red lip you will look put-together. It's empowering.

LUST 

What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex? 
I find a charming personality endearing, someone funny with a twinkle in their eyes when they smile. I find dark hair and a stubble attractive.

ENVY 

What items would you most like to receive as a gift?
A designer accessory such as a scarf or a purse would be lovely but I would never expect someone else to spend that much. I really love cutesy thoughtful gifts.
