The Liebster Award 2.0

So I am honoured to be nominated for a second time for a Liebster Award by the lovely Kirsten from Letters from Marion as someone who is looking to get more active among the blogging community I could not refuse to answer the questions that she sent me.
For a brief explanation about what the award is about, check out my previous post here.

1. If you could only shop in one High Street shop for the rest of your life, which would it be?
What a tough question to start with! I think I would have to go with Urban Outfitters. It is one of my favourite shops with lots of quirky clothes. I love the majority of the items they sell in the shop from the shoes to jewellery to awesome t-shirts. The thick cosy cardigans are a favourite of mine as they tend to have some unusual patterns.
2. What one designer item is on your if-I-won-the-lottery list?
There are actually many items on my if-I-won-the-lottery wishlist, and they end up favourite on my pinterest. But if I had to go with only one item it would have to be a couture gown. It would be a fight between my two favourite couture dress designers Ellie Saab and Zuhair Murad. At the minute a Zuhair Murad dress is the winner as seen below.

It is a beautiful gown from his fall 2014-2015 collection and I am in love - I don't think I will have to explain why as the picture speaks for itself!
3. What's your beauty bargain item in your skincare regime?
A beauty bargain in my skincare routine is probably the seaweed pore perfecter from the Body Shop. Over the years I have tried many different methods of getting rid of those pesky spots that are just a big sore lump under the surface of the skin. And this treatment is fabulous as it only takes a couple of days to get rid of them, without having to bring the head to the surface and/or having a big ugly scab on your face.
4. What's you one all time favourite item of clothing that you've had for years and will never throw away and why do you love it so much?
I used to have a big puffy tartan skirt with a corset attached from my more gothic days as a young teen but recently I am pretty that that I managed to part with it. It was difficult but I was trying to do a wardrobe cleanse and I honestly could not remember the last time I wore it out anywhere.
I would say that now it has moved onto my Jeffrey Campbell Spike Litas. I bought them a few years ago now when I was on a wee holiday with my one of my best friends in Camden. I am honestly in love with these boots. When I wear them I feel I can take on the world kick-ass style.
5. Describe your ideal weekend?
Let's start off with Friday night! I would indulge in a bath with a Lush bath bomb, candles and a glass of wine then catch up with that weeks guilty pleasure TV shows like Castle, Grey's Anatomy and Scandal. On Saturday, I would go on a massive shopping spree with the girls followed by a massage at a beautiful spa to ease those sore shopping limbs. On Sunday, I would have a lazy PJ day with my boyfriend and eat pizza whilst watching movies. If I could afford this weekend then that would be awesome.
6. If you could swap your wardrobe with anyone in the world who would it be and why?
I have been admiring outfits that Emma Stone has been wearing recently, but I think we are entirely different body shapes! She is really quite thin, and I am a bit more curvy.
7. What made you want to start a blog?
I basically had thought about it since the age of like 14, but I always made excuses as to why I couldn't do it. I decided one day to hell with this avoidance I'll never know if I never try, so I decided to just do it.
8. What's your favourite season for fashion and why?
People are going to slap me for saying this, but I love autumn and winter time. Yes, the weather can be rather depressing but I have such a soft spot for boots. I also love wearing hats and scarves and being able to layer up. Then there is the added bonus: black. If I could have an all black wardrobe I wouldn't mind at all.
9.A festive one! What's your favourite stocking fillers?
Ohhh I love little expensive treats from Benefit! However, on a more affordable scale I love giving people and receiving nail polish. It is one of those things where there is such a wide spectrum of colours and designs that you can manage to not give someone the same gift twice. I also love giving people little personal handmade things from Etsy.
10. What are your everyday makeup essentials?
At the moment I start with celestial moisturiser from Lush, Bourjois healthy mix foundation, Benefit magic ink liquid eyeliner and finish with Maybelline flared mascara.
11.What part of blogging makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside and just generally pleased with yourself?
Definitely seeing any positive feedback from readers. It is honestly so fantastic to hear back from any readers as I am getting quite passionate about my blog and it is just awesome to be able to share my creature outlet with others.
