BRAND FOCUS | SOAP & GLORY

I had always thought that Soap & Glory were mainly based around skin care when it came to beauty products. But around the end of last year I discovered they had makeup products too - out of curiosity more so than anything else, I gave friends and family Christmas presents which included soap & glory make-up, as well as the supercat liner for myself. Boy, I am glad that I decided to experiment with Soap & Glory's make-up line because it is such high quality for drugstore prices!

The pen liner | Soap & Glory's Supercat Carbon Black Extreme Eyeliner Pen is super easy and quick way of applying a cat flick in my daily makeup routine. The pen lasts for a long time as long as you keep the lid handy, the colour payoff is great (nobody wants to set and reapply layers of eyeliner to get that perfect black) and it lasts for a very long time. My only pet peeve is that the eyeliner wears off on my eyelids during the day as I have slightly hooded eyes, but in comparison to other pen eyeliners I have used in the past it is longer lasting.

The brow pencil | I was pleasantly surprised with Archery Brow Tint & Precision Shaping Pencil. As a natural brunette, I choose it in shade brownie points. I am a huge fan of my brow zings and never thought I would be really into eyebrow pencils but archery is another story for me. There are two sides to this product, one is a felt-tip pen to fill in any gaps  and the other a pen to fill in the perfect shape. I like that the pencil end is slightly waxy so you only need soft strokes to sort out the brow. I think it is great for an easy daytime look, and you can still get the same precision needed for brow products that you can get using a brush.

The translucent powder | As you all probably know by now I am very wary of products that may dry out my skin, but a girl has gotta have some powders to keep foundation in place and reduce any shiny areas! I tend to go for a matte base for nights out and One Heck of a Blot ticks all my boxes.

What's next on my Soap & Glory wishlist? I have quite a few different things in mind for my next drugstore makeup splurge! The kick-ass concealer is a must, closely followed by the peach party blush and archery brow bar.

What is your opinion on Soap & Glory's makeup line, yay or nay?

I love Soap & Glory's make up - Archery and Supercat have been my go to products for well over a year now! It's so cheap for the quality you're getting which is a massive bonus. I really like their lip products too so would thoroughly recommend those xx
