GLASGOW WEST END SHOPPING

Hello everyone, on Monday I went shopping around the West End of Glasgow as I finally finished my psychology lab report and handed it in (hurrah!). I took this opportunity of free time to go around some shops around Byres Road and Dumbarton Road to see if I could find some nicely priced goodies and I was lucky enough to find a few!

The first bargain I spotted was this studded clutch bag from the British Heart Foundation charity shop on Byres Road. It does not seem to have labels on it, and it feels like fake leather but for £4.50 and in mint condition it is a very handy clutch for a night out. I have always been a big fan of studded items throughout my teen years so I felt it was very me.

Next I found a black and white striped top from Zara in Dumbarton Road in Marie Curie Cancer Care. The tag was still attached suggesting the top was in new condition. It was being sold for £3.50, so for a soft casual top that would go with multiple outfits I was sold.

Finally, I found this beautiful Red Herring coat and All Saints top from a thrift shop. The owner had many beautiful clothes inside so I wish I could tell you the name of the store, but I can't seem to remember it!

I was originally wanting to replace my houndstooth coat and found a beautiful one in store, however at a size XS it was slightly too small a fit for me, thus I found this beautiful coat for £25. I am quite happy that I did. It is soo cosy on and is perfect for the Scottish winter weather. I was unsure about it at first (mainly because I was lusting after the houndstooth print) but after I decided with my new white(ish) blonde locks that I looked like a snow leopard I decided it was a keeper.
I also found this gorgeous all saints top for £12, I love the embellished shoulders and the details around the waist. I have to say All Saints are one of my favourite brands but I can rarely afford to buy things straight from the store so finding this top was a fabulous bargain for me.

I managed to find these Yankee Candle tea lights at a bargain price of  £6.00 and £5.25 at a shop called _ in Dumbarton road. Yankee candles are my all time favourite candle brand as they produce they most amazing strong smelling scent into the air as they burn, and I was getting psyched up to buy a more festive scent. I usually go for a jar as they are really good value for the amount of candle wax, however, I bought these tea lights instead for a particular purpose - baths!
The Cinnamon stick tea lights at the side of the bath should compliment one of my favourite bubbles baths by treacle moon called Cinnamon Nights. Whilst the snowflake cookie (which smells like home Christmas baking) should compliment sweeter scents such as lush's snow fairy used a bubble bath or the sweeter bath bombs. To say the least, I am really excited to use them in my pamper time.

The candles are absolutely lovely at this time of year. I'm so tempted to go out and try the Christmas Cookie one too x
