No7 12 COLOURS OF THE YEAR NAIL POLISH COLLECTION

Hello everyone, so I have begun my Christmas spending with the passing of Black Friday and birthday shopping for my friends that just happened to be winter babies. I know, so rude picking birth all within a month of Christmas. I joke, but it does mean I have to be a little extra prepared with presents at this time of year.
So, after buying my mum her luxury present from boots and a birthday present for my friend, I noticed with the 3 for 2 deal that Boots have with their gift sets that I could buy something else so I bought a treat for myself! I picked out the No7 12 Colours of the Year Nail Polish Collection

This set comes with 3 nail polish colour selections for each of the seasons of the year which in my opinion is an awesome idea. There is Winter Wonders, Spring Favourites, Summer Brights and Autumn Shades. This is great for me as I cleared out my nail polish collection not so long ago and it ended up with mainly black and dark purples, reds, and blues and various bright reds, now I have a lot more selection.

THE BODY SHOP HAUL

Hello everyone, so last weekend I got a £25 voucher for the Body Shop if I spent up to £50, and I could not resist restocking on some beauty products! I ended up buying several products; a small tub of body butter, a hand care treatment, body lotions, some fragrance mist, clay mask and a facial wash.

URBAN DECAY NAKED PALETTE 2

Hey guys, I wanted to share with you a review on a cult favourite - The Urban Decay Naked Palette 2. After not really ever seeing a bad review on this product I thought I would join the band waggon. I choose number 2 out of the set of 3. The original Naked Palette is more warm bronzed based eye shadows, whilst number 3 is more pinky hues. I went for number 2 as it was more taupe which I thought would compliment my pale skin tone!
The Naked Palette 2 comes in beautiful packing with the box displaying each colour from the palette. Inside this box is a fantastic metal case. This should be great for travelling as it will protect the eyeshadows inside. There is also a mirror which is great for times of makeup emergencies such as train applications etc, as I would usually use my full length or vanity mirror at home. I bought this palette a while back when House of Fraser were offering £10 off on special products. The RRP is £37.00.

GLASGOW WEST END SHOPPING

Hello everyone, on Monday I went shopping around the West End of Glasgow as I finally finished my psychology lab report and handed it in (hurrah!). I took this opportunity of free time to go around some shops around Byres Road and Dumbarton Road to see if I could find some nicely priced goodies and I was lucky enough to find a few!

The first bargain I spotted was this studded clutch bag from the British Heart Foundation charity shop on Byres Road. It does not seem to have labels on it, and it feels like fake leather but for £4.50 and in mint condition it is a very handy clutch for a night out. I have always been a big fan of studded items throughout my teen years so I felt it was very me.

Next I found a black and white striped top from Zara in Dumbarton Road in Marie Curie Cancer Care. The tag was still attached suggesting the top was in new condition. It was being sold for £3.50, so for a soft casual top that would go with multiple outfits I was sold.

Finally, I found this beautiful Red Herring coat and All Saints top from a thrift shop. The owner had many beautiful clothes inside so I wish I could tell you the name of the store, but I can't seem to remember it!

I was originally wanting to replace my houndstooth coat and found a beautiful one in store, however at a size XS it was slightly too small a fit for me, thus I found this beautiful coat for £25. I am quite happy that I did. It is soo cosy on and is perfect for the Scottish winter weather. I was unsure about it at first (mainly because I was lusting after the houndstooth print) but after I decided with my new white(ish) blonde locks that I looked like a snow leopard I decided it was a keeper.
I also found this gorgeous all saints top for £12, I love the embellished shoulders and the details around the waist. I have to say All Saints are one of my favourite brands but I can rarely afford to buy things straight from the store so finding this top was a fabulous bargain for me.

I managed to find these Yankee Candle tea lights at a bargain price of  £6.00 and £5.25 at a shop called _ in Dumbarton road. Yankee candles are my all time favourite candle brand as they produce they most amazing strong smelling scent into the air as they burn, and I was getting psyched up to buy a more festive scent. I usually go for a jar as they are really good value for the amount of candle wax, however, I bought these tea lights instead for a particular purpose - baths!
The Cinnamon stick tea lights at the side of the bath should compliment one of my favourite bubbles baths by treacle moon called Cinnamon Nights. Whilst the snowflake cookie (which smells like home Christmas baking) should compliment sweeter scents such as lush's snow fairy used a bubble bath or the sweeter bath bombs. To say the least, I am really excited to use them in my pamper time.

LUSH HAUL

A couple of weeks ago I went on a bit of  a lush spending spree as it is the time of the year where lots of fantastic products come out or make a reappearance, so I thought I would share with everyone the products that I treated myself to.

First up is one of my long time favourites - the aqua marina cleanser. My skin type is super sensitive and prone to dry patches and the calamine powder in this cleanser soothes my skin. It is honestly a lifesaver when eczema patches make an appearance on my face! I'm sure that having bits of seaweed on your face is not for everyone but I make do by pretending to be a mermaid.

Next I restocked on my most recommended moisturiser (see my review on celestial here).

The D'fluff shaving soap smells amazing! It is a strong strawberry scent, a shop assistant showed me it a few months ago but I put it on my wishlist for my next lush haul so I ended up buying it.

Then there is the Snow Fairy shower gel. One of lush's best sellers every year around christmas time. It is a very sweet scent, sort of like sweet pear? So if sweet is not your thing, then this definitely is not for you. Luckily for my I do enjoy my sweet scents. It smells very similar to the rock star soap if anyone has tried it before, I bought it in the largest bottle to stock up when the limited selling time period is over.

Oh my god this wizard bubble bar is amazing! This is honestly one of my new favourites guys. The water was a beautiful shimmering purple colour, the aroma of ylang ylang in the air, bubbles galore.. However I think it was limited to Halloween time which is very upsetting!

I bought the Comforter which is a lovely raspberry scent as Blue Skies and Fluffy Clouds is one of my lush faves, and this is it's sister bubble bar.

I also bought Candy Mountain which smells very similar to Snow Fairy etc, (We are going to Candy Mountain Charrrliieeeee, sorry guys I could not resist).

Northern Lights is another newcomer on the block, and I am saving it for a treat yo'self night. In its dry state it smells absolutely wonderful. Furthermore I have heard fabby things about the way it melts in the bath, it seems to be a super cool display of colours which I can't wait to use.

What are your current Lush favourites? And if you haven't tried anything from the shop out, it is a perfect time of year to try it out because they have all sorts of wonderful products on the go.
