BOURJOIS ROUGE EDITION VELVET LIPSTICK

Bourjois is one of my favourite drugstore brands for makeup. I am yet to dislike a makeup item from their brand. I especially love my go-to affordable foundation: Healthy Mix in vanille clair. I have repurchased this foundation many times now as it gives me a radiant finish with medium coverage. Today I am not going to chat about my favourite foundation but these amazing lip lacquers.

THINGS I HAVE LEARNT IN 2014

I have been reading many wistful posts recently and it has got me reflecting on my year, and the things that I have learnt along the way. It don't try and keep it a secret that I have had a bit of a rough year, but I'm not going to go into it at great lengths on here, but it is when times are a bit more tough when you can truly learn new things about yourself. You have to take the bad times with the good.

PRIMARK UNICORN JUMPER | MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hello everyone, today I thought I would show you all a recent purchase from Primark that I am absolutely nuts about! A perfectly cosy fluffy unicorn jumper for £10.

I have been loving Primark's Christmas Jumpers recently, but I always feel that you can only wear a Christmas Jumper in December. So this is a great option for those that would rather have the freedom to wear a winter jumper for a longer period of time.

It is has a very retro feel to it which I love, and it is just oh so cosy and warm. I can't rate this jumper enough! I love the kitsch multi-coloured patterns and it reminds me of my childhood when I would play with my little pony dolls (even though it is indeed a Unicorn). It has a lush psychedelic print on the back with Lucky Star printed amongst rainbows and such.

From the confectionery coloured pattern, the oversized fit, the sports luxe light grey trim to the fleece, super soft blanket fabric it is just a jumper of dreams. Plus, the UNICORN. It is just ideal to get me through the dreary winter months and instantly uplift my mood. It is hard to feel sad when you are covered in rainbows, stars and love hearts..

Furthermore, in my local Primark they were also selling a food print jumper too! It was made in the same fleecy material which just makes you want to curl up with a hot chocolate.

I wish a Merry Christmas to everyone!

LOVE ME BEAUTY

Hello everyone! I decided to order up my first beauty box. I have been considering it for awhile but I really wanted to see a review of a company first before I ordered one up and after watching Victoria from InTheFrow show off the Love Me Beauty box on Youtube I decide to give this company a shot.

What I liked about this company is that you filled out a questionnaire with your skin type, and favourite type of products so then your monthly beauty surprises would be most suited to you. You then get 6 credits for around £10, and you can select products up to this value. I choose a moisturiser, eyeliner, lip liner and a mineral eyeshadow.

It came in a cute box, which more than protected the products, with a drawstring bag inside.

URBAN DECAY VENOM REVOLUTION LIPSTICK

So recently Debenhams were offering a discount on all beauty products, and I jumped at the chance of buying my second Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick (see post on Pulp Fiction limited edition revolution lipstick in shade Mrs Mia Wallace). I loved my previous shade as I could not believe how pigmented yet hydrating these lipsticks are. I choose the shade Venom which is a beautiful bright plum colour as I had been lusting a purple berry shade of lipstick.

THE SERPENT CLUB CHOKER

Hello everyone, today I am going to show you a really awesome piece that I order from The Serpent Club for the Black Friday sale! So many people will know that chokers have been all the rage in autumn - probably due to the popularity of that 1990s revival look, but I wasn't feeling the black tattoo chokers that you see everywhere. Then I found the Astra choker from the Summer '15 collection and everything changed.

TREACLE MOON. ONE GINGER MORNING & CINNAMON NIGHTS

Around Christmas time, I become more and more drawn to spicy scents such as cinnamon and ginger. So when I was having a weekly shop around the good old Tesco I saw that the Treacle Moon bath and shower gel was reduced to £1.99 for 500ml each I could not resist. I have heard people diss this brand because 'it is a blatant copy/rip off of philosophy' however, the brand philosophy is more expensive and have different scents. For this reason, I personally have no problem with buying Treacle Moon products especially when their products are not tested on animals and have no ingredients that are derived from animals, and are suitable for vegetarians. As an ex-veggie, I still try my best to buy products supporting animal welfare.

MY TOP 5 CHRISTMAS BEAUTY PRODUCTS

Hello everyone, so I have recently released a winter wishlist, this is my most wanted beauty products which I wouldn't mind as a cheeky present. I get told I am very difficult to shop for, as a girl who owns a lot of things it is hard to find new things that I don't even own - my oldest friend even got my a sheep wool belly button warmer once as a joke!

I absolutely love my Brow Zings kit however, for a more natural brow look I have been looking at other products. I first considered a brow pencil and do the flick technique but I just prefer wax in a palette over a pencil. Since then I have read reviews on Gimme Brow and it seems it is exactly what I am looking for.

Amongst all the benefit Christmas gift sets Cheeky Sweet Spot most appealed to me, each singular blush or bronzer costs around £23.50 and as this whole set is £29.50 you are in luck with a real bargain. And I own two blushers currently in my make up collection.

This is one of my all time favourite products. I have been drawing on winged eyeliner since the age of 12 when I first started to experiment with make up. I have not came across one product that compares to Benefit Magic Ink in my eyes. I have even tried other designer brands such as by MAC and I just cannot see past this liquid eyeliner. It just does it's job so well and I'm starting to run low again.
I honestly laughed when I came across this product. At £12.00 this is a perfect gift for lovelies that just love chopping and changing their hair colour! I got the nickname Rainbow at school, and my friends just came to expect that I would come in a different hair colour every second or third week.

At the moment I have platinum blonde hair (sort of) and this has meant that my poor locks have gone through damaged again, so I'm willing to try any hair treatments that bring moisture back to my hair since I just want to pamper it. I think this product will suit my hair perfectly in this condition that it is in.

What are your top 5 most wanted beauty products for Christmas?

WINTER WISHLIST

Diesel Loverdose Tattoo is one of those perfumes that I have had my eye on for awhile now. It is one of those strong florential woody scents so if you prefer a delicate scent then this isn't for you. I really adore the packaging, so I think this would be great to add to my collection!

Diva Professional Styling Magnetic Multi-Wand is a beauty item that I have had on my bookmarks for a while now. I simply love curling my hair but my GHDs attach the conditon of it, whilst this multi-wand tool is infused with argan oil. I imagine this leaves your hair feeling soft and beautiful. Then there is the added bonus of the 3 different sets of curls you can create with each barrel. A wonderful item to own.

Options Belgian Chocolate Hazelnut - I guess this one is self-explanatory. Winter is definitely the season of hot chocolate and you can't get much better than Options when you are making a mug at home. I really want to expand my horizons with new flavours and there is no better place to start than with hazelnut.

There was an amazing selection of colours for the Ladies Fair Isle Jumper. I was most drawn to the soft turquoise and with the 100% lambswool material I can just imagine it being super soft and cosy during the colder months. I think I would pick this a couple of sizes larger so it would be extra cosy.

Shop Dixi Keeper of the Night Lepidolite Necklace. Anyone who knows me well will know that I just absolutely adore semi-precious gem jewellery, there are so many pretty pieces from this shop that I just absolutely love. This necklace in particular is beautiful, I really like the sterling silver moon details on the pendant.

I am in love with the Heiðmörk Scarf. I really want either a Northern Lights printed scarf or dresses but it is surprisingly difficult to find online. I came across this amazing Icelandic which uses photographs to create the printed material, it is the most expensive item on my winter wishlist but it would be a dream to own.

I am also lusting after Clarins HydraQuench Cream, as a dry skin and eczema sufferer I am always on the lookout for great skincare items . From what I have heard this moisturiser is a luxurious treat for your skin and with added SPF it will help to protect your skin throughout the year. Debenhams are doing a great gift set with this moisturiser included which would be wonderful as a present.

Finally, MAC lipstick in Russian Red. This is one of those classic lipsticks that any lover of red lips should own. It is a classic dramatic red which oozes 1950s Hollywood Glamour.

COLOUR CO-ORDINATING YOUR WARDROBE

Quite a while ago I was got fed up with the way that my wardrobe looked. This is probably because it is now all on display (since I technically have a rail form the beloved IKEA rather than a proper closet.) This enthused me to change the order scheme in my wardrobe since it had always been dresses with dresses, shirts with shirts, jeans with other jeans and so on.

My love for co-ordination assisted in the decision that a colour spectrum was definitely the way to go and now I have a beautiful rainbow displayed on my clothing rail.

First one is to remove everything from your wardrobe, at this point you may want to give it a quick clean if it hasn't been done in awhile. Next is to have a purge through your clothes. Be tough with yourself. Have you worn this item in the last 1-2 years? Does x item fit? If not, how long has it not fitted. This the is a tough part however, you will be surprised to find things that you could sell on eBay or depop, or do a good deed and send it off to a charity shop. This part can also be fun if you find an outfit you had forgotten about and have a good idea of new ways to style it. Then you should sort everything into separate colours.

The following is how I chose to organise my own, you may play around with the finer details to suit yourself and your closet. Firstly I decided that I wanted to separate the tones from the colours, I started off with the largest part of my wardrobe - the black section! Then the greys to the whites, and finally I finished this part of the wardrobe with the monochrome black and white patterns.
I then choose to start with the closest colour to white which is yellow - orange - red - pink - purple - blue - light blue - light green - dark green - beige/brown. I was overall pleased with this order. Within each section I decided to order my clothing further dresses - tops - skirts and other bottoms.

I was quite happy with the result. It made my wardrobe look a lot tidier and prettier to look at. The final step which I am still working on is matching hangers throughout the rail. I have chosen thin black velvet non-slip hangers as it creates more room.

Go on, do this at home and you'll have a beautiful well-laid out wardrobe that you'll love. No more mixed up mess where you can't find that particular outfit you were just dying to wear.
